Cameron Machen

Cameron began serving as Youth Pastor at Memorial Baptist Church in August 2021. He plans and coordinates all youth activities including Thursday night worship, Bible study, and special events. Cameron’s goal is to effectively communicate the truth of God’s Word to shape our students more and more into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

 

Cameron is originally from a small town in Northeast LA called Tallulah. He received his B.A. in Christian Studies at Mississippi College. (Go Choctaws!) In the Spring of 2021, he completed his Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary!

 

As far as hobbies go, Cameron’s two great loves are sports and video games. He is a life-long fan of both LSU and the Saints. You would be hard-pressed to find someone who will scream at their TV louder during a game. He also loves to play board games and card games with his friends. Recently most of his free time has been spent playing with his dog Jezzy and with his latest obsession: disc golf.
