This year’s tea was the debut of our Ladies Ministry with the proclamation that God’s goal for our ministry is our goal, as we follow His first commandment of “you shall love God with all of our heart, and with all of your soul, and with all of your mind” and His second commandment is “to love your neighbor as yourself.”
Love is the source and summation of all other laws governing human relationships, thereby creating a love relationship with God is imperative. During this year, it is our desire to bring all ladies together so that we may love together, laugh together, celebrate together and cry together.
Below are some of our upcoming events. Please join us for one or all by clicking the picture and signing up online. We look forward to spending time together, to grow together as a ministry.
Kevin Ricks, a retired federal Police office will teach basic self defense skills during a two hour block of instruction. These basic skills will show you how to use common carried items as a weapon to defend against an attacker. Kevin will teach you skills on how to get out of a hold by using pressure points to aid in your escape and skills to help you become more familiar with your surroundings. This class is FREE and open to all ages and to anyone who would like to attend.
The women’s ministry will be holding ladies craft nights where we can come together, worship God and get to know one another as we make a simple craft. If you are interested in participating or have a craft you think we would all enjoy creating please signup by clicking the Craft Nights picture.
Our first craft night will be Friday, June 15th @ 7:00 pm.
Table Talk is a time to intentionally gather and encourage each other in our walk with Christ. Once a month for 2 Hours, 6 women meet to discuss 4 Questions. These meetings can take place over a coffee table, a dinner table, or at a local restaurant. If you would like to be a part of a small group or if you’re interested in being a table “host” please click the Table Talk picture. We would love to chat with you and give you more info. Lord willing, we will start these tables in the fall.
Throughout the year, we will be collecting various items to serve and help our local community. For more info, click on the Donations picture and a lady from our Women’s Ministry Team will be in touch with you.
37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (ESV)
