Dan Pritchett, Senior Pastor
Pastor Dan Pritchett moved to New Orleans in January of 2009 to begin seminary only one week after marrying his bride, Carianne. During that year Dan began to fall more in love with the city as he began school and started a full time job selling jewelry down in the French Quarter.
While serving as a Sunday school teacher and occasional Wednesday night speaker at First Baptist of New Orleans, Dan received a call to come and preach for six weeks at Memorial Baptist in April of 2011. Dan never left after those six weeks and in August of 2011 Memorial called him to be their pastor.
Dan has a passion for preaching and desires for the Bible to come alive in every person’s life who truly wants to know more about God. Dan believes that church, religion, programs, and morality don’t change people. Only through a relationship with Jesus Christ and by having a life empowered by the Holy Spirit can a person be truly transformed.
